Ducal, whose real name is Marvin Herzog, is a 24-year-old hardstyle producer from Germany who has quickly made a name for himself in the scene.

In 2014, Ducal discovered electronic music and was immediately fascinated by the energy and dynamics of the genre, particularly hardstyle. The raw power and intensity of hardstyle inspired him and sparked his desire to create his own music within the genre. However, his first steps into electronic music production began with melodic dubstep. Starting in 2021, Ducal produced melodic dubstep and gradually incorporated more hardstyle elements into his tracks.

This experimentation led him to fully transition to hardstyle in 2023, marking a significant turning point in his career. Ducal’s unique style blends emotional melodies with hard-hitting, aggressive kicks, creating a sound that is both powerful and moving. Since his shift to hardstyle, Ducal has released several remarkable tracks, including his solo debut “Vision” in March 2023 on Upcoming Recordings.

He has also collaborated with other artists on tracks such as “Wild (Ducal Remix)” with DJ Tani and Tsenay, showcasing his versatility and ability to craft impactful remixes. Ducal’s music is characterized by its mix of emotional depth and raw energy. His tracks often feature melodic breakdowns that build up to powerful hardstyle drops, creating a dynamic listening experience. His ability to infuse his music with emotion sets him apart and connects him with listeners on a deeper level.
